Choose around the routine
Consider how much product customers use, whether their hands may be wet and how precisely the product should dispense. A dropper, pump and dispensing cap each create a different experience.
Review the whole pack
A bottle is one part of the system. Include closure, liner, dropper bulb or pump, label, decoration, carton and transport packaging in the brief. Provide drawings and samples when available.
Confirm compatibility
Ask the project team to evaluate the proposed formula with the complete container system. Discuss leakage, closure function, material changes and appearance during the agreed evaluation. The final testing plan depends on the formula and package.
Lock the specification
Agree bottle volume, intended fill, artwork version, component references and supplier responsibilities before placing the production order. Record changes so packaging and manufacturing teams work from the same approved version.
